At James Aircraft, we work to ensure your order arrives safely and on time. Please review our shipping guidelines below.
1. Shipping Methods
Freight Shipping (Large Items / Cowlings)
Large products such as cowlings are shipped via freight carriers.
Freight shipping may include residential delivery, limited-access delivery, and airport deliveries.
Additional fees may apply for:
Residential delivery
Limited-access delivery (airports, military bases, schools, etc.)
Liftgate services, if required
UPS Shipping (Smaller Orders)
Smaller orders ship via UPS.
UPS shipments are processed and sent out every Friday.
Customers may request UPS shipping for eligible items even if freight is the default method.
2. Shipping Quotes & Insurance
All shipping quotes provided by James Aircraft include insurance coverage.
Insurance covers the value of the shipment while in transit.
3. Responsibility After Shipment
Once an order leaves our facility:
We are not liable for delays, damage, loss, or other issues that occur during transit.
Any claims regarding damage, loss, or delivery problems must be submitted directly to the shipping carrier.
We are happy to provide documentation or assistance needed to help you file a claim with the carrier.
4. Shipping Times
UPS orders are shipped every Friday.
Freight shipments are scheduled as soon as possible based on carrier availability and product readiness.
Transit times vary depending on location, carrier schedules, and freight class.
5. Address Accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete.
Additional carrier charges caused by:
Incorrect addresses
Re-delivery attempts
Storage fees
are the responsibility of the customer.
